Hello - Just looking for a little advice from your experience before buying a 2012 F150 XLT Supercab with the Flex-Fuel 3.7 Liter 6 in it. I currently have a 2007 version of the same truck but it has the 5.4 L Triton in it. I intend to put a light duty plow on the new truck as well as tow a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer some.

The difference in consumption is very important. The 2WD i am at 9,5 Km/L (22,3 MpG) in town. And up to 12 Km/L (28 MpG) on highway. The 4WD was at 7,9 Km/L (18 MpG) in town. And 9,5 Km/L (22 MpG) on highway. So, 4WD impacts a lot, like 20% more fuel ! 12,5 MpG is very low. Check the injectors and go for a reset of the CPU.
